Just finished this gorgeous horse commission. This is a little cutaway, more soon. He’s in the varnishing stage now. ❤️ yes, I do commissions. Just ask!

VERY quick in-class sketch with my students. One of them got a new dog, a German Shepherd/Bloodhound mix. Haha! He looked like this... well, except that he wasn’t green.
Quite a funny fellow, his eyes didn’t match, and he was the soulful fellow. I’m sure he will be getting lots of love. Actually, I think he looks kind of cute green!
Here’s a small hint for my current work in progress, a commission which is getting close to being done. I do commissions on all requests, and the process is really quite fun for the buyer as well.

I love learning how ancient Chinese pictograms slowly changed into the characters they have today. Working it out in paint. This character means dragon. Can you see his legs?
