Now this. This is what I call art. One of my students brought super yummy whoopie pies for us all. Whoopie pies on top of my Australian art towel on top of my art board. Layers of love here.
Aren’t they beautiful? :)

Remember your teachers, people, because we spend August working like crazy people whilst you are laying around the pool. I’ve laid up $1,000.00 worth of supplies (you’re welcome, Jerry’s Artarama) so far in preparation for my classes. A couple classes are full, but I still have a bit of room in my others. Teaching in The Woodlands and in Conroe. For formal homeschool classes in all subjects, check us out at:
www.hisclasses.org(The Woodlands)
And,
www.ttcclasses.com(Conroe)
And by the way, if you are looking for a FABULOUS pencil, find those big Jet Blacks at Jerry’s. LOVE.
Thursdays are my private lesson days. We cover all those lovely things that artists deal with every day like line, value, stump use, contrast. Generally in my privates we get about as much done as in a month of classes, and they’re fun! If you’re interested in private art lessons, message me and we can talk.
My email address is @colorcatstudios@gmail.com.
All in a day’s work. And this is AFTER the cleanup! I am so thankful that part of my job is to play with kids! Our 2018/2019 class schedules are up in both locations and I added an Advanced Art Class as well. Check out Tc classes.com and www.hisclasses.org for schedules and registration.
www.ttcclasses.comTrust me,it takes my entire car to accept all this stuff. Art supplies are practically brimming out the windows sometimes. And note my coolio gum wrapper purse that one of my students gave me. She said it’s from Cozumel. Some people travel on spring break. We clean our house.
