Here I’m holding my new little puppy painting so you can see the size. This adorable little doggo is a commission I just finished - yay! Stella is a bundle of fun so I put polka dots in the background to symbolize her playfulness. Guaranteed to bring a smile of delight, this acrylic painting is only 12”x12” painted on cradled wood. With the gold textures in the background, her mood changes as light filtering onto the painting changes. She’s so CUTE!

colorcatstudios101.etsy.comThis lion is a direct descendant of my first lion. A client liked the previous one but wanted a different size and different colors and this is the result. I do really love the colors of this one, and rather than predatory, like my first one, this one looks like a paradise lion. Sold, but I have mini-posters and magnets.
My little red panda magnet has decided to make friends with my other available magnets. These and more on my website. Lions and tigers and... red pandas, oh my!

I am so excited; I’m getting ready for a show and just received the coasters I ordered! Here’s the first one, my little raccoon. The coasters are super glossy and have a nice cork back to protect your tables. Just what you need to ‘fun up’ your household. At $8.00 each and free shipping, they’re just what the doctor ordered, and a fabulous way to knock out some gifts. Here’s my adorable coaster conversing with a fork so you can note the size. Here’s a little peek into my process. First, measuring, proportions and sketches. Always. Lots. Then, drawing into the canvas and slowly working my way around, again and again until it finally comes into its own. This one’s gone but I take commissions. I’m also wondering if I make magnets and posters if people would buy them?
In order for people to understand what size canvas I’m working on, I like to have a shot taken with me holding it. Here it is! Now you can tell what size it is (24x36) and see that I wear super goofy hairstyles when I work at home. NPR, you have your ‘driveway moments, and so do I.
Also note my lovely long green hair growing out of that head planter. Pretty fantastic, huh? When I planted those two little plants, they were six inch sticking-up hair. :)
