Self Portrait (of sorts!)
Traveling Artist, The Parthenon (Nashville)
Did you even know there’s a Parthenon in Nashville? Nashville’s called the ‘Athens of the South,’ so they built a plaster Parthenon to celebrate. It was so popular but plaster doesn’t last so they built this beautiful Parthenon exactly like the original! It is truly beautiful. Who knew?

Baby Bird Painting
Now THIS one makes me LAUGH! If you want a piece of art in your home that will start conversations and cheer everyone, this is the bird. I mean painting. Named Abominable Baby Bird, you better come and get it before it comes to get YOU. Find it at www.colorcatstudios101.etsy.com.
www.colorcatstudios101.etsy.comYou can find lots of photos of the painting there as well. This is one of four paintings in my Copper Beach series. All four paintings employ the same colors: blue, white, tan, black, copper and gold. Oh MAN, I stepped in something good this time!
It looks as if that baby bird is just stretching his wings trying to figure out how to use them so he can MOVE!
Oh my GOODNESS i love the way these paints flowed!!!

Me and Bob Ross
An Artist’s Palette
Well, I am fluent in English and music (considered a language), adore old English, am pretty dangerous in Spanish and Italian, fascinated with German and completely stymied by Dutch, and spent about five years intensely studying and teaching Latin. But did you know I can read paint palettes? Looking at this one, I can clearly see that someone was definitely painting an animal’s nose.
Well, okay, it’s my palette. But I can look back at any photos of my palette over the years and clearly remember exactly what I painted. Cool, huh?

Matisse Paint Pour
For all its bold color I named this one ‘Matisse’ and took some shots of it so you could look at all its little nuances. Really love the way the blues and reds mixed in this one with little bold shouts of black and white. That gunmetal sparkle throughout is like the icing on the cake. Armchair shopping at its best - www.colorcatstudios101.etsy.com.
www.colorcatstudios101.etsy.comI was a little frustrated because I forgot to take pics of this before I laid down the resin. Even in the video you can see a lot of reflections and probably see me with my camera if you look closely. But you know, it’s all right - you can really see what you’ll get, and THAT’S a good thing! Absolutely love this one with two of my favorite compliments working together
This shot shows how it wraps around the sides. I love that it continues the art all the way around. :) ❤️
